Vacation in Maine

This last week, Rachel, Lily and I spent the week in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. We found a wonderful dog-friendly inn, and had a wonderful, relaxing trip. We went for many walks along the rugged Maine coastline, visited some charming towns, and ate at some great lobster shacks (pictured here, very informal arrangements with picnic tables, paper plates and freshly caught lobster).

From 2007-08 Maine

Lily was introduced to the ocean. She's a water dog, swimming daily in the Bronx River. She had a rude awakening to discover the ocean, salt water with big waves. It was a little scary for her at first, but being the trooper she is, she finally got into the swing of it.
