All is well in paradise

As we welcome Spring, all is well in paradise. Although it still hasn't warmed up much, Lily has discovered the joys of swimming in a local river. She graduates from her puppy training class on Thursday, and is generally having a great time. She has her mischievous moments, though, as illustrated when we left her alone for too long a few weeks ago, and she amused herself by shredding a doormat, and proceeding to get entangled by it:

Our two 17 year old cats are slowly adjusting. Magpie has been quicker of the two to acknowledge Lily. While Lily is desperate to be friends, the cats consider her with great caution. But both Magpie (right) and Audrey Anne (below) are doing very well, despite their advancing years:
